Briefing the President of Germany

Recently the President of Germany, Bundespraesident Horst Koehler (previously President of the International Monetary Fund - IMF), visited Japan to open the German Year in Japan.

At the beginning of the visit, on April 3, 2005, four experts briefed The President and about 30 German Leaders, Members of Parliament, the President of Germany's Industry Federation BDI, and other VIPs in a 2 1/2 hour long discussion about Japan's economy, politics, culture and technology sectors and their impact on Germany.

The author of this blog was briefed the President of Germany on Japan's technology sector and impact on Germany. The write-up of this presentation was handed out to participants and after the briefing to the Press. If you are interested, you can download the presentation here:
